Another glimpse at a black and white version of my frame design. So dope.

Wildcat Wheels just launched a CETMA-rack based cargo bike portable bike repair shop. How amazing is THAT. Admittedly, I’d have added SG mounts…

via Lung, who will be the first to tell you that he already carries a portable bike shop, on his utility belt.

We’ve looked at these components before, but last time I was obsessing over the cranks. Now I’m jonesing on this STEM.

This is the best escort you could have. Thrice. And old timey!

So this project, a self-inflating tire, seems very unlikely to survive it’s $250,000.00 seed money quest. But it’s a brilliant concept: a variable universal valve constantly sucks air in, and the bead of the tyre distributes the air and pinches flat when there’s pressure on the wheel. This isn’t a flatproof system, but rather it’s intended to allow air to bleed into the tyre when in your garage, to eliminate the slow leak of unused bikery that happens over even just a few days time.
So, I suspect this is a ploy to get interest from bike companies in hopes someone will come in and buy their patent design.

This is totally inaccurate.

I’m not a big fan of two-tone wrap or Harlequin wrap… but I absolutely LOVE the trick here with the red string.
Not for RIDING, apparently, but looks clever.

We get so wrapped up in fixie grrrls and townie grrrls and grrl grrls that I forget the love of years of my road riding: chasing a gorgeous grrl in full kit on a road bike, easily 100 pounds lighter than me and just as strong, seeming to ride at hyperspeed like its nothing. And FIT.
Lung sent me this, of course merely to observe the kit graphics and nothing else. I thought I’d share.
She’s giving the ole’ Lance lookback!
