This is a curious mutant swedish fish, fully detailed but miniaturized and sort of malformed. Riding a fixie. Because it’s the cool thing to do.

you know, i’m not one for spending seventy-five fucking dollars on a t-shirt, but something about THIS is speaking to me, and i have a tax return coming in, so…
obviously, the thing i like about it is that it’s merino, which means multiple wears, no stink, and sweat-wicking. these are qualities you used to only be able to get in a proper merino jersey (which, thanks to my buddy WR, i have one of), but to have it in an everyday shirt, see THAT’S my fuckin language. i love the idea of rolling up to some event on my sole form of transit and NOT being soaked with sweat.

Or, well, when their wheels do. YEEESH!

He can make me laugh just by looking at the camera. He doesn’t even need a jangy helmet fitment issue. Though, I hope this shot at Orange 20 means he was bike hunting or the like.
Let me get this straight… 300+ riders met overnight, queued up, and sprinted the LA Marathon closed course prior to the next day’s event, and the police and organizers allowed it???
I’m stunned. That makes…well, 3 reasons cumulatively to go to LA.

The Chinese historian claims this was the first velocipede, about what, a millenium earlier than the European flavor. Hm.
I think his Lu Ban also invented the iPad…

Here’s a shot of Crook in it’s tweed variant edition.
I’ve seen a few ridiculous big gear chainrings in those shots from the early 80s where someone is drafting a Fiero or something out in Ojai… but this is olllld school knee-bustery!

This is pretty much exactly my experience three years ago at Embarcadero and Folsom…
